Typical consumer orders to a residential physical address within the 48 contiguous states normally will be shipped via UPS Ground within 1-2 business days of receipt of order. Orders for schools and businesses normally will be shipped via UPS Ground within 4 business days of receipt. Orders will be delivered within 1-5 business days after shipping. See map below with expected UPS Ground shipping times. Shipping charges are subject to change without notice.

All shipping methods require a physical address. USPS Parcel Post is available only if you have no physical address (i.e. PO Box), and UPS ground charges will apply.

Outside contiguous U.S., except Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico (see above), will be charged actual shipping charges. See international shipping below for further information.

Free Shipping on Orders over $200!

Free Shipping — Merchandise orders totaling $200 or more ship freight-free via UPS Ground. EXCEPTIONS: Additional shipping charges will be added to factory-direct shipments, international and U.S. Territory orders, and shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Additional fees will apply for oversize items.

Gift Certificates — Gift Certificates are shipped free of charge via priority mail (additional charges will apply for two-day and overnight delivery). Gift Certificates are not considered merchandise, and as such do not contribute towards the $200 free shipping offer when purchased with other items.

FOB — Items shipped directly from the factory, which are noted as Freight-On-Board (FOB), are billed an additional cost for shipping and handling. FOB shipping charges may depend on destination as well as weight. Please allow additional time for delivery. Some items shipped directly from the factory may not be available for express shipping. You will be notified if the item you ordered cannot be shipped express.

Although items shipped from the factory incur additional shipping charges, the cost of the items themselves applies toward the $200 free shipping offer. For instance, suppose you order a $175 easel that is shipped direct from the factory, plus $25 in items that are stocked in our distribution center. You must pay an additional FOB charge for the easel. However, since your total order is over $200, the items that are stocked qualify for free shipping from our distribution center. Thus, it is to your advantage to order additional stocked items with an order that requires factory shipment.

If you would like to know exact charges for factory shipment and special handling to your destination, we encourage you to place your order by telephone. We have telephone sales representatives on hand who are trained to handle your special shipping requirements between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm EST, Monday-Friday. Truck Shipment — Truck shipment delivers your item to your curb or dock. The charge varies, based on distance, weight, bulk, etc. While all carries establish their own rates for delivery, our shipping department selects the best carrier based on service, price, and availability. A physical address and phone number are required for delivery. The minimum charge is $80.

Shipping Methods and Expected Shipping Times

Commercial Art Supply ships all orders via UPS ground whenever possible, except orders addressed to P.O. Boxes which will ship via USPS Parcel Post (UPS ground charges will apply). Also, additional charges may apply on shipments of hazardous materials via air or to AK and HI. Call 1-800-669-2787 for information.

Express Shipment — Express orders must be placed before 2:00 pm EST. Express shipments are expedited through our order process and generally ship via UPS Overnight or 2-Day air, although other carriers are sometimes used. For items shipped directly from the factory (FOB), please add one additional day for processing.

UPS Ground —UPS cannot deliver to a Post Office Box or to APO/FPO addresses. Allow 2 business days for order processing, plus 1–5 business days once merchandise leaves our warehouse. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will not be shipped until the following business day. UPS orders can be tracked, while in transit; when your order ships, your confirmation e-mail will contain a tracking number and information. USPS Parcel Post — Orders shipping to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses are shipped via USPS Parcel Post. Please allow 2 business days for order processing, plus 7–10 business days once merchandise leaves our warehouse. These orders cannot be tracked while in transit.

International Shipping

International orders ship by UPS. The cost isdetermined by items ordered, cost, weight, size and destination. Some items cannot ship outside of the US. This includes any hazardous or flammable materials. Notification will be given if this applies. Free shipping does not apply on international orders.

Shipping charges are calculated and an email is sent for approval within 2-3 business days. If email is not available, the charges will be faxed or phoned. A response is requested within 7 days after receiving our notification. Orders do not ship without approval, and can be cancelled up until that time. A phone number is required for delivery.

The recipient is responsible for any taxes, duties, or brokerage fees. These cannot be estimated prior to shipping. We are unable to remove pricing from documents as the correct value must be provided.

All electrical products we carry are wired for use in the US. They may not be compatible with the electrical system in your country, even when a converter is used. Damage may occur, and for this reason, we do not ship electrical items outside of North America.

We do not mark packages as gifts or samples, all prices will be shown for custom clearance.
